The current contractual framework of SUKUUK real estate financing is designed for the acquisition of existing real estate. For the rescheduling or redemption of a land charge, a new set of contracts is required that suitably reflects the special features of this type of financing. After the launch of the SUKUUK platform, we intend to offer debt restructuring or land-charge redemption through SUKUUK in the near future.
